Cedar Classic and Vintage was formed by Brian Stevens and Sue Wilkinson when they took over Cedar Classic Cars on Derek Green’s retirement. We are based in the same workshop with the same staff and Derek has been retained as a consultant.
Over the last 20 years we have been engaged in the restoration and servicing of cars dating from 1903 to the 1960’s as can be seen on the Past Projects page.
Over the years our staff has been responsible for preparing vintage and classic vehicles from major collections, including those of Victor Gauntlet and Peter Livanos, for major rallies such as the Mille Miglia, London to Capetown, Peking to Paris and many others. At the same time the Meadows engine was developed to produce 230 BHP for Martin Stretton to race in both the famous old Lagonda team car EPE 97 and Simon Bull’s Invicta.
Over the years we have restored or serviced over 300 Veteran, Vintage and Classic Cars including Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lagonda, Invicta, Alvis, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lancia, Morris, Vulcan, etc...
We are equipped to carry out all aspects of the repair, restoration and conservation of historic vehicles. Our numerous successes in major concours events bears testament to the quality of our work and the finish achieved by our associated paint shop.
Although noted for our ground up restoration work, no job is too small and we are delighted to carry out every day servicing at extremely competitive rates.
